Special Presentation: Ken Paxton’s Guide to Integrity
Nobody does integrity quite like Ken Paxton.
We know that some of you may be skeptical about the Texas Senate candidate, particularly those at the NRSC who had to scrub dozens of digital ads, press releases, and statements attacking Paxton for his corruption and less-than-perfect (or even remotely acceptable) history after he won the primary. So for any lingering skeptics, this is your chance to hear the record straight from the source.
In this presentation, Paxton will cover:
Sweetheart Plea Deals For Predators
Paxton will cover how, as Attorney General of Texas, he orchestrated a plea deal for Adam Hoffman, a man who admitted to molesting a minor for years, which ended in him only serving 29 days in jail. He will also cover his plea deal with Rakim Sharkey, who he kept out of prison and off the sex offender registry despite being arrested for the sex trafficking of minors.
Impeachment
Paxton will explain why, as Attorney General of Texas, his own party impeached him. Paxton used his power to interfere with the FBI’s investigation of his associate Nate Paul. When Paxton’s employees accused him of bribery and abusing his office, Paxton fired them. In his defense, how was he, the Attorney General, supposed to know that firing his accusers would violate the Texas Whistleblower Act?
Securities Fraud
And for his pitch on why he should be put on the Senate Committee On Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Paxton will explain how he was indicted on securities fraud after defrauding investors and his own colleagues. He’ll cover how he was then federally charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission and ordered to pay restitution and perform community service.
Stealing A Thousand Dollar Pen
A cornerstone of Paxton’s guide to integrity: if no one else is watching, you can totally steal the thousand-dollar Montblanc pen.
Biblical Divorces
In Paxton’s guide to integrity, preaching Christian values and upholding them are very different. Despite claiming that America’s moral and legal values originated with Christianity, Paxton cheated on his wife with two different women, leading to her filing for divorce “on biblical grounds.”
Taxpayer Money
Paxton understands that it can be tempting to misuse taxpayer dollars. That’s why he does it. In this presentation, Paxton will discuss how he initially used taxpayer funds to pay for hotel rooms for his donors and foreign nationals for Trump’s inauguration.
